Positive Karmic energy is an ever-changing energy that keeps transforming because of the choices you make. What you are right now is an amalgamation of all your actions and memories you carry in your body and mind. That means your personality traits, emotional, mental, and physical being is due to your past karmic energy. Simply put, karma is you get what you send out to the universe. If you send anger, that is what circles back to you; if you send out love and light, you are blessed with healing and love.
With more positive, conscious choices, you can transform how you deal with the existing karma and, more importantly, shift the karma you create for the future. So the next time someone acts a little weird or is mean, remember that they need healing and light, instead of a similar reaction from you. When you choose compassion, you not just empower yourself to be more compassionate, but also attract compassionate people into your life.
Here are some tips for positive karmic energy:
1. Love and empathy
Being more loving and empathetic to others is a very high vibrational emotion, which not just keeps you away from stress and anxiety, but also maintains a healthy heart, lowers blood pressure, and even increases life expectancy. And I am not just talking of your romantic partners here, but your colleagues, pets, family, friends, and even strangers. Practice small acts of showing love by planning a surprise party for loved ones, smiling more often, lending a helping hand to a colleague, or simply listening to them. You can heal your relationships with a simple act of love.
2. Listen to your critics
We often tend to ignore our critics, most of whom can be very offensive. But what if I tell you that your most significant lessons lie with them? Any sort of criticism, whether it is positive, negative, constructive, destructive, logical, or speculative, offers a chance for self-introspection. If these are genuine criticism, they offer you an opportunity to grow; if they are not, you learn to manage your emotional well-being and how to remain detached and grounded.
3. Meditation and Mindfulness
Meditation lowers the mindless thinking of the monkey mind and brings peace and tranquility. Unlike common belief, karmic energy is above your mere actions and is deeply ingrained in your thoughts and emotions. When you think or wish for the failure of your enemy or competitor, you incur negative karma. Or when you overthink, you are training your mind and subconscious to imbibe it as a habit, imprinting the impression of overthinking in your karmic energy. With meditation, you will have reduced stress, anger, expectations, anxiety, and ego, thus reducing the enormous burden of negative karma caused by these emotions. Simple mindfulness exercises are also very useful in training the mind to remain in the present moment.
4. The power of truth
“The closest, nearest, and the dearest place to communicate the truth is within yourself”- Sadhguru.
When you begin being honest with yourself, you start analyzing your journey with dispassion and thus see your flaws more clearly. Identifying why and where your spiritual journey is stuck is a phenomenal task, and without a doubt, your first victory and a giant step toward positive karma and an enriching spiritual journey. Being truthful to self comes with practice, deep insights, and meditative states. Once you have the larger picture sorted out, enabling positive karmic energy will be extremely easy.
5. Gratitude and forgiveness
Be grateful for all your good in life, and you attract more of it in the act. Be grateful for beautiful relationships, food, water, the house, a healthy body, happiness, and money. When you start appreciating what you have in life, you immediately shift your energy from scarcity to abundance. Gratitude has the power to heal you from past karmas and also creates a more positive karmic energy.
Similarly, forgiveness is a powerful tool to let go of all the resentment and anger you are carrying for someone who has harmed you. Forgiveness isn’t to justify the wrongdoing of someone, but it is to liberate you healing from the experience and all negative emotions it brought. Forgiveness closes the karmic energy exchange with the people involved and sets you up for freedom.
6. Detachment
One of the age-old practices of having positive karmic energy is to focus on the act of doing without worrying about the results. Found its mention in the Bhagavad Geeta, the law of detachment encourages you to focus all the energy on the action itself, while surrendering the consequences of all efforts to the divine. With detachment, you will have more authentic relationships with zero expectations and have an increased possibility of success as you are more focused on the action.
7. Help others
Be generous in helping others when you can by donating money or time to a social cause, helping a friend in difficult times, or even a stranger during unexpected circumstances. Build a routine to reap the benefits by keeping aside a part of your yearly bonus to fund a child’s education or make it your Sunday habit to pay for someone’s meal. When you inbuilt the act of giving regularly and continuously, you invite abundant positive karmic energy.
8. Monitory exchange
When you respect your and someone else’s money, you garner positive karmic energy. That translates to being fair, transparent, and authentic in any monetary exchange, by not taking anything extra or giving anything less to others. It is also essential to understand how you really perceive money. Are your thoughts limited or abundant? What do you want to achieve with money, and do you donate more often? Interestingly, feeling abundant and having financial freedom has nothing to do with your bank balance. Your money belief system and how you spend money is critical. Remember, your thoughts and actions will come around.
9. Giving back to nature
We are eternally grateful to the trees and forests for the fresh air, food, nourishment from the earth, and clean water from the rivers. But how often do we express gratitude or give back to nature? Planting more trees, adopting more conscious eating habits, zeroing in on food wastage, and cleaning our rivers are some of the incredible ways to incur positive karma.
